2003년 6월 25∼29일 독일에서 열리는 Society for Psychotherapy Research 국제학회에 한국교수로는 최초로 "Divergent Cultural Ideologies Undelying Psychotherapeutic Practice" 패널에 토론자로 초청이 되었다. 또한 7월 4-11일 네델란드에서 열리는 Person-Centered & Experiential Psychotherapy국제학술대회에서 "The Characteristics of Taoistic Therapists and Person-Centered Therapists"라는 논문으로 발표를 한다.
